Call for Consultants (in Angola, Burundi, Sudan and South Sudan): Livestock Activity Data Collection for GHG Inventories in Sub-Saharan African Countries

Dear Colleagues,

The Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network (FANRPAN) is supporting the Global Research Alliance (GRA) on Agriculture Greenhouse Gases to facilitate the collection and collation of livestock sector activity data. The aim of this project is to help improve the estimates of national livestock greenhouse gas emissions and mitigation at Tier II levels and decision-support for achieving NDCs and tracking NDC performance in 39 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa.

We are seeking livestock experts (researchers preferably) in Angola, Burundi, Sudan and South Sudan that can participate in the collection of these data. Most of the data is expected to be collected remotely from secondary sources.

If you are interested in this assignment or know an expert who can help, kindly contact Dr. Njongenhle Nyoni (nnyoni@fanrpan.org).

Best regards, Thembi
