Youth and jobs in rural Africa: Beyond stylized facts

By 2050, there will be 30 million African youth reaching workforce age every year. African youth are demanding policies that improve their job prospects. The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI)’s new book "Youth and Jobs in Rural Africa" discusses the evidence on rural youth and proposes how to ensure that African youth are included in country-level and regionwide economic transformation.
