Carlos Filimone

Carlos Filimone is currently a Researcher and Head of Technology Transfer Department at Institute of Agriculture Research of Mozambique Carlos´ holds a Masters Degree in Agricultural Development from Copenhagen University, Denmark and Degree in Agronomy, with an orientation to Agricultural Extension, at Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique. Carlos has done several pieces of research in technology transfer/dissemination methods and strategies, with a focus in identification/evaluation of extension and technology transfer approaches to facilitate the dissemination and adoption of agricultural research knowledge. His research also focused on training and technologies needs assessment. He has also engaged in the production of dissemination material (audio-visual and printed) for extension workers and farmers. Since 2017, Carlos has been a member of Scientific Council at Centre of Research and Technology Transfer for Community Development, under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Higher Education and Technical Professional.
